Player Count:  1 on 1 (map supports up to 16 total players).
Requires the Unreal Tournament Editor's Choice Edition (ECE) Bonus Pack 1.1 or Retail Game Package.
The ECE is a free download from Epic, and everyone should have it installed.
Your Unreal Tournament 2004 should also be updated to the latest build (build 3369 at the time of this map).

Map Information
---------------

This map is using the theme of a night-time Asian temple nestled in the mountains.
A large number of Unreal Engine effects are used, including custom scripts.
The build time for this map and all of its custom content was from Oct 11 2005 to Nov 09 2005 with an average of 10 to 14 hours per day and required almost 2GB of hard drive space for the source resources and map file build copies.
Final tweaking and play-testing was performed until Jan 20 2006.

All custom resources are contained within the map file, so simply copy the .ut2 file to your UT2004 Maps folder.
This map includes custom music, so copy the .ogg file to your UT2004 Music folder.

The goal was to provide a very vivid atmosphere while maintaining a respectable framerate.

Testing was performed with multiple resolutions, the software renderer, and with our LAN UT Server.
The DGUnreal Team Development and Testing systems include:
- P4 2.66GHz, 2GB RAM, ATI Radeon X800 Pro, UT2004 with all settings at maximum, 1280x1024.
- P4 2.0GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro, UT2004 with all settings at Normal, 1024x768.
- P4 1.6GHz, 512MB RAM, Intel Xtreme.
- P4 1.6GHz, 512MB RAM, Intel Xtreme.
- Dual P3 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI Rage XL.
- P3 1.1GHz, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9000, UT2004 with default settings of Normal/Low, 1024x768.
- P3 866MHz, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 8500, UT2004 with default settings of Normal/Low, 800x600.
- Celeron 900MHz, 256MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9200.
- P4 2.0GHz, 512MB RAM, ATI 9700, UT2004 with all settings at normal/high, 1024x768.


Disclaimer

This map is using a mixed Asian theme, mostly Japanese with some bits of Chinese etc.
This includes Japanese symbols and images from Asian temples.
As I do not read or speak any Asian languages, it is my hope that nothing in this map offends anyone, and no disrespect is meant in any form regarding their sacred temples and religions.
